GEHMANN 501 & 501A LENS HOLDERS
The Gehmann 501 and 501A lens holders are precision-engineered solutions for shooters who require a prescription lens mounted eye-side of their rearsight. Designed to support 23mm lenses, both models allow users to improve visual clarity and focus without the need for shooting glasses.
The 501 model is compatible exclusively with Gehmann’s latest irises that feature a detachable front thread and do not include a 1.5x magnifying diopter. Simply remove the detachable steel front thread using the factory spanner, screw the 501’s adapter thread into the iris, and attach the entire unit to your rearsight with radial adjustment for perfect positioning.
The 501A model is intended for all other manufacturers’ irises and older Gehmann irises without removable front threads. It offers the same ergonomic and secure lens mounting functionality, sliding easily along the integrated rail for optimal placement and locking firmly in place via an Allen screw.
